The WZCM and WZPM series surface RTD elements are wound from specially treated wire and tightly fitted to the front end of the thermometer. Compared with conventional axial RTDs, the surface RTD reflects the actual temperature of the measured surface more accurately and rapidly, and is suitable for temperature measurement on steam turbine and motor bearing pads in power plants or on other machine body surfaces.
