Specifically designed for the petrochemical sector, it can directly measure liquids, steam and gaseous media as well as solid surfaces within -200 °C to 1600 °C.
○ The electrodes of a thermocouple are made of two different conductors. When a temperature difference exists between the measuring junction and the reference junction, a thermoelectric EMF is generated, and the indicating instrument displays the temperature value corresponding to that EMF.
○ The RTD works on the principle that resistance is a function of temperature. When a temperature difference exists in the measured medium, a thermal resistance is produced, and the indicating instrument displays the temperature value corresponding to the resistance value.

Generally refers to the static external pressure that the protection tube can withstand at room temperature without rupture. The permissible working pressure depends not only on the protection tube material, diameter and wall thickness, but also on its structure, installation method and the flow velocity and type of the measured medium.
